Celebrate National Library Week with magic tricks and guest readers

April 05, 2011 - AUBURN, Mass. - Next week, the Auburn Public Library will host a variety of special events to celebrate National Library Week.

Monday, April 11, stop by the library at 11 a.m. to meet the new Town Manager Julie Jacobson. Light refreshments will be served

Tuesday, April 12 at 6:30 p.m., children are invited to participate in "Love Your Library Button Craft". Registration for this event is required.

Wednesday, April 13 at 6 p.m. special guests Senator Michael Moore and state Representative Paul Frost will host story time. Children will have a chance to listen to stories and decorate delicious cookies to take home.

Thursday, April 14 at 6:30 p.m. the library will host an Open House and Magic Show. Magician Fran Flynn will entertain the crowd with fascinating tricks. Stop by for crafts, a tour of the library and an opportunity to check out the services available. Light refreshments will be served.
